Men's Samba Jacket

This is a typical men's samba jacket, made in Brazil with hand applied/glued acrylic crystals and rhinestones. There are 3 main sizes, Small, Medium and Large. Pair it with one of our sparkly men's samba shirt, vest and pants and you are ready to look like a ***"Malandro" sambista! Traditionally a Malandro will use a white jacket and a stripped red/white t-shirt and white  men's samba shoes, however in a more sophisticated event or in a group a black, dark attire is required.

The crystals are not too much, but enough to look like a professional sambista. It's nicely scattered to have an elegant look.

In Brazil a size SMALL would be size 38, a size MEDIUM 40-42, a size Large 46 and above. If you want to send us your measurements we can check against our jackets, but we do not custom make jackets. ***Malandragem  is a Portuguese term for a lifestyle of idleness, fast living and petty crime – traditionally celebrated in samba lyrics, especially those of Noel Rosa and Bezerra da Silva. The exponent of this lifestyle, the malandro (masculine adjective), or "bad boy" (rogue, hustler, rascal, scoundrel), has become significant to Brazilian national identity as a folk hero or, rather, an anti-hero. It is common in Brazilian literature, Brazilian cinema and Brazilian music.^[1]
